PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner able to be attached/detached easily and safely by general users when an air direction changing device is attached/detached. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is constituted such that a horizontally long air direction changing device provided with a louver is detachably mounted to an air conditioner main body case. One or more movable locking pieces which are arranged freely movably back and forth in the longitudinal direction of the air direction changing device and are always elastically urged in the longitudinal direction on either the air direction changing device or the air conditioner main body case.
