PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive digital camera in which video to be projected on a television connected to a video signal output terminal is not distorted. SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with: a PLL 15' in which a single frequency is oscillated, a USB interface 7 which is operated by inputting a clock signal of 48MHz dividing a frequency of a signal outputted from the PLL 15' into two stages; a zoom circuit 18 for horizontally zooming digital image data to be reduced; an encoder 11 which is operated by inputting a clock signal of 24MHz dividing a frequency of a signal outputted from the PLL 15' into four stages to produce a video signal by performing dot sampling of the digital image data horizontally reduced and zoomed by the zoom circuit 18 synchronously with the clock signal of 24MHz; and a video output terminal 12 connected to the encoder 11.
