PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily find values Q(0) and S(0) at high speed and to apply highly accurate code analysis to an arbitrary low density parity check codes ( hereafter referred to as LDPC codes). SOLUTION: A code analysis apparatus 1 is provided for discretely performing a density evolution to analyze the LDPC codes and is equipped with a first conversion part 30 for converting an inputted probability distribution P(y) into a probability distribution Q(y), a second conversion part 50 for converting the probability distribution Q(y) to a probability distribution R(y), and a third conversion part 70 for converting the probability distribution R(y) to a probability distribution S(y). The first conversion part 30 and the third conversion part 70 find the values Q(0) and S(0) at y=0 in the probability distributions Q(y) and S(y), so that integrated values from y=0 to∞in the probability distributions Q(y) and S(y) are matched with integrated values from y=0 to∞in the probability distributions P(y) and R(y) of conversion sources.
