MECHANISM FOR HOLDING REACTION CONTAINER FOR INSPECTING BIORELATED MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a reaction container for inspecting at bio-related matter at an appropriate location. SOLUTION: This reaction container holding mechanism 200 comprises a mounting base 210 for mounting the reaction container 100; a receiving part 230 fixed to the mounting base 210; and a pressing mechanism 250 for pressing the reaction container 100 to the receiving part 230. The pressing mechanism 250 comprises a slider 252 capable of moving over the mounting base 210; a shaft 254 rotation-freely supported at the mounting base 210; and a disk member 256 fixed to the shaft 254. The disk member 256 is eccentric to the shaft 254 and moves the slider 252 with the rotation of the shaft 254. The reaction container 100 has a positioning hole 160 formed at a fluid end face, and the receiving part 230 has a positioning pin 238 protruded from a contact surface. The positioning pin 238 and the positioning hole 160 are engaged with each other to position the reaction container 100 in lateral directions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
