PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly raise the temperature of a sample tube containing a sample to a desired temperature. SOLUTION: The device includes: a thermostatic block for storing the sample tube containing a sample; a heater for heating the thermostatic block; a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the thermostatic block; a temperature setting part for setting the heating temperature; and a control part for controlling the heater so that the preset temperature and the detected temperature conform to each other. The temperature setting part sets a temperature set before storing the sample tube in the thermostatic block to the initial temperature higher than the desired temperature, and sets the preset temperature to a desired temperature after the lapse of designated standby time from the time of storing the sample tube.
