PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly cowl for a double annular combustor 16 for a gas turbine engine 10 having the longitudinal axis 28. SOLUTION: A reinforcement rib 76 of a cowl 44 includes an intermediate portion 78 which includes a rear edge aligned to a front surface 84 of an intermediate annular portion 62 with a section 86 extending between a front edge 80 and a rear edge 82 located on the upstream side of the intermediate annular portion 62, an outer portion 88 including a front edge 90 aligned to a rear face 94 of an outer annular portion (54), and an inner portion 98 including a front edge 100 aligned to a rear face 104 of the inner annular portion 58. An intermediate rib portion 78 further includes the front edge 80 extending through a slot in the radial direction when the slot 108 in the radial direction is disposed within the intermediate annular portion 62, while the inner and outer rib portions 98 and 88 further include rear edges 102 and 92 extending through the slot in the radial direction when slots 118 and 120 in the radial direction are disposed within the inner and outer annular portions 58 and 54.
