PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator capable of simplifying piping by integrating an internal heat exchanger and ensuring large degree of freedom in dimension in the vertical direction and the radial direction and to provide refrigeration cycle using it. SOLUTION: The internal heat exchanger 7 is integrally constituted around a refrigerant storage space formed inside a housing 10 of the accumulator 6. For example, a circular arc channel 13 which communicates with the refrigerant storage space 11 and lets low pressure refrigerant flow is formed so as to surround the refrigerant storage space 11 in the housing 10 of the accumulator 6, and a tube 14 for making high pressure refrigerant flow is arranged in the circular arc channel 13 to constitute the internal heat exchanger 7.
