PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine useful for the prevention and/or treatment of drug-induced nephropathy. SOLUTION: The medicine for the prevention and/or treatment of drug-induced nephropathy contains a pyrazolone derivative of formula (I) (R<SP>1</SP>is H, an aryl, an alkyl or an alkoxycarbonylalkyl; R<SP>2</SP>is H, an aryloxy, an arylmercapto, an alkyl or a hydroxyalkyl; R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>may together form an alkylene; R<SP>3</SP>is H, an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, a hydroxyalkyl, benzyl, naphthyl, phenyl or a phenyl substituted with 1-3 substituents selected from alkyl, alkoxy, etc.), its physiologically permissible salts, their hydrates or their solvates as an active component.
