PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear seat supporting structure for firmly supporting a rear seat in front of a step portion between a front floor and a rear floor of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The rear floor 13 at a higher level is provided at the rear of the front floor 11 supporting a front seat via a vertical wall 12. The rear seat Sr is supported by a first beam 14 extending from the vertical wall 12 to a front upper side in the cross direction of a vehicle body and a second beam 17 extending from the rear floor 13 near connection portions between each of right and left rear frames and a cross member to a front upper side in the cross direction of the vehicle body. Thus, with no need for such large-scale reconstruction that the vertical wall 12 is repositioned frontward for the frontward extension of the rear floor 13 at its front end, the rear seat Sr can be repositioned frontward to keep a proper space between the front seat and itself and still the supporting rigidity of the rear seat Sr can be secured.
