PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static crushing material for crushing a fragile object such as concrete and rock statically along a planned crushing line while guiding a crack starting point and a cracking direction more accurately without cracking and expanding the unnecessary portion of the fragile object. SOLUTION: This static crushing material is composed of a cylindrical or pouched vessel packed with an expandable crushing agent and an elliptically cylindrical exterior vessel which involves the cylindrical or pouched vessel and is made from a metal or a resin and from which plates each having an almost triangular shape in the cross section are projected on both of the outer peripheral wall lines of the elliptically cylindrical part in the major axis direction.
