The mounting for a tire pressure sensor comprises a hollow rivet (11) which fits into the aperture (16) in the wheel rim (17), through which the tire valve (18) protrudes. The head of the rivet fits over the sensor casing (13). An Independent claim is included for a method for mounting a tire pressure sensor on a wheel using the system.
