摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring wind direction/wind velocity at a site where a windmill is scheduled to be constructed for generating wind power that can automatically and efficiently acquire data at a number of points to be observed by using a laser radar. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises a step for obtaining altitude data on a ground surface 2 separated from a position O where the laser radar 1 is installed by a specific distance; a step for setting points that are moved by a desired height upward from a plurality of specific positions on the ground surface to be the points to be observed, calculating position data by a polar coordinates system at each point to be observed, and storing the calculated position data; and a step for presetting the scanning method of the laser radar so that the wind direction and wind velocity at each point to be observed can be measured by using the position data at each point to be observed being stored. According to the scanning method of the preset laser radar, the wind direction and wind velocity at each point to be observed are automatically measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
