<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal configuration of stable toner without leaking the toner outside by eliminating a very small gap between an end seal and a filler in an image forming apparatus having the end seal in which the bristle falling direction of a raising layer of a cortex is in one direction. <P>SOLUTION: The filler is injected into the gap among a blowing-out preventive sheet face, the end face of the end seal and a developing vessel. The corner part of the end face of the end seal is chamfered. The chamfering direction is the same direction as the bristle falling direction of the raising layer of an end seal cortex.
