<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap-less writing utensil in which a hermetic condition of a tip part in a barrel is made sure with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In this cap-less writing utensil, a writing body is arranged in the barrel and a pen-point part of the writing body is freely moved in and out from a tip opening of the barrel. An inner cap formed of a rubber material or an elastic resin material is provided at the tip opening of the barrel. The inner cap has a slit through which a pen-point part is freely moved in and out at the pen-point part outlet side along the axial direction of the barrel, and is provided with a closing part for closing the tip opening, and a front projecting part expanding toward the tip opening direction is formed on the outer peripheral part of the closing part. The inner cap is mounted in the barrel in such a way that a force facing inward from the outer periphery of the front projecting part is applied in the direction intersecting approximately at right angles to the slit face under a condition where the slit is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
