<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start a motor smoothly without necessity to stop the rotation of a rotor once even in case that the rotor is rotating before start. <P>SOLUTION: It is possible to begin synchronous operation from the state where the rotor is rotating by external force, etc. by estimating a rotor's speed from the change cycle of a specified phase of current amplification value. To be concrete, this motor controller estimates the rotor's speed by the execution of a rotor's speed estimating subroutine and decides the output frequency of an inverter circuit from a rotational speed lower than the estimated rotor's speed. Furthermore, this estimates the rotor's position by the change of the current amplitude value being detected when estimating the rotor's speed, and decides the phase of the applied voltage of the inverter circuit from the rotor's position. According to this method, this can begin the synchronous operation as it is without stopping the rotor from the state where the rotor is rotating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
