<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally insulated container for food which is excellent in heat insulating property, and can ensure a proper strength, and at the same time, can be made light-weight. <P>SOLUTION: A flange part 2 is formed at the opening upper edge of a cylindrical container main body 3 having bottom. Also, ribs 7 in the vertical direction are molded by injection-molding on the outer peripheral surface of the container main body 3 in a manner to be radially projected. Then, a label having heat shrinkability is fitted on this thermally insulated container for food.
