摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microlens substrate in which deterioration by condensation of light can be prevented and a high contrast ratio is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The microlens substrate 1 is obtained by joining a first substrate 2 with recesses for microlenses having a plurality of first recesses 31 formed on a first glass substrate 29 and a second substrate 8 with recesses for microlenses having a plurality of second recesses 32 formed on a second glass substrate 89, with a resin layer 9 interposed by allowing the first recesses 31 to oppose to the second recesses. Microlenses 4 composed of double convex lenses are formed between the first glass substrate 29 and the second glass substrate 89. The resin layer 9 has a first resin layer 91 which is disposed in the first glass substrate 29 side where light enters and which has a higher refractive index than those of the first and second glass substrates 29, 89, and a second resin layer 92 disposed which is disposed in the second substrate 89 side and which has a lower refractive index than those of the first or second glass substrates 29, 89. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
