<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a printing plate with improved printing performance, especially print starting properties and stain recovering properties, and storage properties of the material for the printing plate before an image is formed, and a method for printing using the material. <P>SOLUTION: At least one layer with an image forming function comprising a hot-melt or hot-fusible fine particle and a crosslinking agent capable of heat-crosslinking a hydrophilic binding material, is provided on an aluminum substrate on which a surface roughening treatment and an anodizing treatment are applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
