<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure for optical cable connection capable of containing a number of coated optical fibers with high density. <P>SOLUTION: The closure 1 for optical cable connection has a closure body 4 into which multiple optical fiber cables 7 and single core optical cables 9 are introduced. Optical cable fixtures 14 and 15 for fixing the optical cables 7 and 9 are detachably disposed in the closure body 4. A passing-through fiber storage compartment 23 for containing passing-through coated optical fibers, a fiber fusion spliced section storage compartment 24 for containing the fusion spliced sections of the coated optical fibers, and a fiber extra length storage compartment 25 for containing the extra lengths of the coated optical fibers are disposed in the closure body 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
