COMPOSITION, HARDENED BODY, CONCRETE CASK AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HARDENED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a sufficient heat-resistant composition and a hardened body and to construct a highly safe cask which protects canister corrosion, which does not leak radioactivity outside and which is excellent in shielding ability because of no defect in a shielding body by designing sealed concrete cask using the hardened body. SOLUTION: The concrete cask is comprised of a bottomed and lidless cylindrical container body 1 and a cover 2 which freely shields the top opening of the container body 1. Both of the container body 1 and the cover 2 are the hardened bodies made of the composition using portland cement or mixed cement containing it. The concrete cask is formed by the hardened body in which calcium hydroxide of 15-60 mass% is contained after hardened by a hydration reaction.
