摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device (and range information input device) for making high linearity and high definition possible with high sensitivity and low noise. SOLUTION: In this solid-state image pickup device, a unit pixel 100 comprises a photoelectric conversion part 101, a transfer gate for completely transferring photoelectric charge from the photoelectric conversion part 101 to a charge detecting part 103, a reading transistor 110 for amplifying the charge transferred to the charge detecting part 103 and reading the amplified charge, a feedback capacity 106 for integratedly storing the charge transferred to the charge detecting part 103, a resetting transistor 104 for resetting the charge detecting means 103, and a selection transistor 112 for outputting a photoelectric conversion signal of a selected pixel. In addition, outside the unit pixel 100, a current source transistor 109 for feeding current to the reading transistor 110 and a CDS circuit 114 for eliminating fixed pattern noise mixed into a pixel signal are shared and formed for each column (row) of a pixel.
