PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To test a resin gear as in a mode similar to the resin gear slides in actuality. SOLUTION: A tester has a friction and abrasion jig 3 for contacting a test piece 2 and pressurization mechanisms 4, 5 for pressurizing the jig, while the test piece contacts the jig. A plurality of rollers 34 are disposed on an surface of the jig. The resin gear is tested, as though the resin gear actually operates by rotating the test piece pressurized by the pressurization mechanisms on a plurality of the rollers, while the test piece and the rollers contact and slide linearly.
