PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor free from an image defect such as fogging, a black spot and environmental memory and void by improving the temperature and humidity change of charging characteristic and sensitivity characteristic when using titanyl phthalocyanine pigments, and to provide an image forming method, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge using the organic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The organic photoreceptor incorporates the adduct of at least titanyl phthalocyanine and diol having a hydroxyl group in two adjacent carbon atoms as charge generating material, and incorporates a compound expressed by a general expression (1) as charge transporting material.
