PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color sensitive photographic material which has excellent solubility to high boiling organic solvent, in which elution from the oil droplet of the high boiling organic solvent is prevented in development processing stage, by which a sufficient color optical density is obtained without changing silver development performance, and which has a good spectral characteristic. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material contains a coupler which has in a molecule at least one substituent expressed by a general formula (1), but a coupler which is expressed by a general formula (MC-III) and wherein Za is -N=, Zb is =C(R<SB>9</SB>), and R9 is coupled with a substituent expressed by the general formula (1) via an aralkylene group, is excluded. In addition, in the formula, A is -N(R4)-, R4 is H, an alkyl group or an aryl group, m is 0 or 1, R1 is a substituent, n is an integer of 0 to 3, each of R2 and R3 is independently an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group, R8 is H or a substituent, X2 is H or a group to leave in a reaction with the oxidizing agent of a developing main agent, each of Za and Zb is independently -C(R9)= or -N= and R9 is H, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group.
