PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for testing leakage at a joint portion where pipes are connected to each other under a vibrating condition. SOLUTION: In this fluid leakage testing device, a joint portion is formed by making the flanges 1, 1 of two pipes 2, 2 face mutually having the flanges 1, 1 on one sides via a gasket 3 in between, and connecting the flanges with bolts 4 and nuts 5. Fluid is put and sealed in each of these pipes, and the other end sides of both pipes are both held to be structured so as to be capable of vibrating vertically. Predetermined positions between the flanges 1 and the other end sides of both pipes can be brought into contact respectively by supporting portions 7 arranged at two spots, when the other end sides of both pipes are vibrated vertically, respectively. The joint portion is loaded with a moment, and leakage of the fluid put and sealed in each pipe is measured, by making the other end sides of both pipes vibrate vertically, and bringing the pipes into contact with the supporting portions 7.
