PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine output control device for water jet propulsion boat capable of suppressing the over speed of an engine even in sudden turning or the like. SOLUTION: The engine 16 is driven, whereby the water pressurized/accelerated by a jet propulsion machine is injected from a rear injection nozzle. In a water jet propulsion boat driven forward by its reaction, this engine output control device for water jet propulsion boat performs the engine control so as to temporarily increase the fuel injection quantity from a fuel injection device 33 when a steering handle 13 is steered with an engine speed of a prescribed value or more.
