PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle having a slide door capable of securing sealing condition of the slide door at a designated position in a slide direction while securing smooth movement of the slide door at other position. SOLUTION: The slide door 6 is made slidable by inserting side edge part thereof in a pair of slide guide grooves 7 formed at a part facing an air conditioning case 3, and slidably contact a seat surface 11 composed of inner wall of the slide guide groove 7. An elastic part (flexible arm 12) pressing the slide door against the seat surface 11 is provided on side edge part of the slide door 6, and an adjustment means changing deformation amount of the elastic part (flexible arm 12) according to a position of the slide door 6. The adjustment means is constructed by making the groove width at both end zones of the slide guide groove 7 narrower than an intermediate zone. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
