PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a liquid ejector for reducing liquid consumption and a computer system comprising the liquid ejector. SOLUTION: The liquid ejector comprises a movable liquid ejection head, a medium feeding mechanism, and a means for detecting the end position of the medium and ejects liquid from the ejection head to the medium wherein at least one of positions for starting and ending liquid ejection from the moving ejection head is varied depending on the end position of the medium detected by the detecting means. At least one of positions for starting and ending liquid ejection from the moving ejection head is varied depending on the amount of the medium being fed by the feeding means after the end position of the medium is detected by the detecting means.
