PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a recorder that a cutting line and the border line of an image incline when a sheet material recording a plurality of images is cut along with an image and an adjacent image enters a cut image. SOLUTION: When a recorded sheet discharged onto an intermediate tray 4 by means of a pair of intermediate tray sheet discharge rollers 3 is carried toward a direction perpendicular to the carrying direction of a roll sheet and then cut along with an image at a cutter section 6, inclination of a sheet is detected using inclination sensors 47 and 48 and the recorder is controlled not to perform cutting at the cutter section 6 depending on the detection results.
