<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus capable of attaining the miniaturization while satisfactorily securing a developer storing capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A developer storing space for storing developer is divided into a first developer storing part 116a arranged above and a second developer storing part 116b arranged below across a window part 120 constituting a scanning optical path. The first developer storing part 116a communicates with the second developer storing part 116b through developer paths 122a and 122b arranged on each side of the window part 120, the developer from the first developer storing part 116a is guided by a first stirring/carrying member 124 to the developer paths 122a and 122b, and then, supplied to the second developer storing part 116b through the developer paths 122a and 122b, further, uniformly carried by a second stirring/carrying member 130 to the center part of a developing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
