<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system where a peripheral device is assembled in an image forming apparatus and which does not require troublesome work associated with opening between the image forming apparatus and the peripheral device when jamming disposal is performed between the image forming apparatus and the peripheral device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 52 and a post-processing device 53 are installed to separate by a distance L by a positioning member 54 and a relay carrying device 55, and the apparatus 52 and the device 53 are coupled through the device 55. Thus, space surrounded by the apparatus 52, the device 53, the member 54 and the device 55 is formed. When jamming occurs in the apparatus 52, the lower surface part 55b of the device 55 is turned by 90° centering a turning fulcrum 56, and then a specified unit inside the apparatus 52 is pulled out to the space so as to perform the jamming disposal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
