<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR device for an internal combustion engine, which surely follows increase in intake pressure at a time of high load of an engine to enable an EGR gas amount to be increased, secures a required EGR gas amount in all of operating areas of the engine, and thereby implements required reduction in NOx (nitrogen oxides) concentration. <P>SOLUTION: The EGR device for an internal combustion engine with supercharger having an EGR system includes an EGR supercharger disposed in an EGR passage. The EGR supercharger has a turbine driven by exhaust gas passed through an EGR exhaust passage branched from an exhaust passage and a compressor coaxially driven by the turbine.
