PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation in the lifetime of a photosensitive body or a laser light source at each image forming section while saving power by switching a light emitting laser forcibly when a scanner is started.
SOLUTION: A laser beam emitted from a laser beam light source 201k is collimated through a collimator lens 205k before scanning is started by means of a polygon mirror 203ck. Scanning speed is corrected by an f-θ lens 206k and the laser is reflected on a turn-back mirror 202k to form a latent image corresponding to an image signal on a photosensitive body 1k. Writing of the image signal is started by synchronizing (BD synchronization) a horizontal sync signal (BD signal) delivered from a BD sensor for detecting the image signal writing timing on the photosensitive body 1k with an image clock. Rotational speed is controlled using the BD signal such that a motor connected with the polygon mirror 203ck rotates at a specified rotational speed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
