<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a lid body, a lining plate and a connecting member by use of materials suitable to each of them. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag device 10 comprises a container 12 of a case shape opened in the front, an air bag 14 folded and housed in the container 12, a gas generator 16 for inflating the air bag 14, and a lid member 18 covering the front surface of the container 12. The lid member 18 has the lid body 20 on the top surface side, the lining plate 30 provided on the reverse side of the lid body 20, and the connecting member 40 provided on the reverse side of the lining plate 30. An edge part 36 is laid down and superposed on a flange part 26 while inserting a protruding piece 28 to an opening 38. The connecting member 40 is superposed on the edge part 36, and the protruding piece 28 is inserted to an opening 46 and fixed by a clip 50 and a bolt 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
