<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unevenness of density or the like of a toner image which is caused by deposition of a scattering toner to a spacer which holds an S-D gap between a developing sleeve and a photoreceptor drum. <P>SOLUTION: A fixed developing means (6B) (a developing device 6K for black) is arranged at an upstream side along the rotation direction (the direction of an arrow A) of a photoreceptor drum 1, and a rotating developing means 6A is arranged at a downstream side. The developing device 6K has a ring-like spacer 6g brought into contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 to hold a prescribed gap as an S-D gap. Though the scattering toner is brought about by rotation of a rotor 6a and developing sleeves 6h, 6i, and 6j of yellow, magenta, and cyan developing devices 6Y, 6M, and 6C of the rotating developing means 6A, an airflow flowing from the spacer 6g toward the rotating developing means 6A in the direction of an arrow F is formed by an airflow means so that the scattering toner can be prevented from sticking to the spacer 6g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
