<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage from one-side heating and the damage from heat-cycling, and has a high electric resistance. <P>SOLUTION: Chemical components of a zirconia-rich fused refractory include the contents of 85-96wt.% ZrO<SB>2</SB>, 3-8wt.% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.1-2wt.% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, >0.05wt.% and ≤3wt.% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0.05-3wt.% sum of BaO, SrO and MgO, ≥0.05wt.% Na<SB>2</SB>O, 0.05-0.6wt.% sum of Na<SB>2</SB>O and K<SB>2</SB>O, and ≤0.3wt.% sum of Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and TiO<SB>2</SB>, and do not substantially include P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>nor CuO. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
