PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the misinsertion in mounting a biosensor on a measuring device.

SOLUTION: In a biosensor system 1 wherein this biosensor 2 is mounted on the measuring device 3 for determining the quantity of substrate in the sample liquid or detecting the presence of substrate, a mounting end part 20 to the measuring device 3, of the biosensor 2 is formed by longitudinally extending one of bases, and laterally extending the other base. The shape of the sensor mounting part 30 of the measuring device 3 is corresponded to the shape of the mounting end part 20 of the biosensor 2.
