SEALING METHOD, SEALING DEVICE AND FILLING-PACKING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct good lateral sealing along a widthwise direction of a tubular film having a back pasted portion without causing inferior sealing.

SOLUTION: The sealing device is constructed such that sealing is conducted along the widthwise direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the tubular film 12 having the back pasted portion 11 made by laminating both the ends of the long film and sealing them. The sealing device includes a lateral sealer 10 having an arch-shaped surface 13A gradually contacting the tubular film along its widthwise direction from one end of the widthwise direction to another end while pressing the back pasted portion on the tubular film side.
