MOLDED PRODUCT HAVING INSERT EMBEDDED THEREIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded product having a structure capable of improving appearance by preventing such a phenomenon that a recessed part is formed to an appearance surface and a part of an insert is exposed and strongly holding the insert in a mold space. SOLUTION: After the insert 3 is set in the molding space 12 formed by an upper mold 10 and a lower mold 11, a molding material is injected in the mold space to manufacture the molded object 1 having a main body part 2. The insert 3 is constituted of the insert main body part 4 being the part embedded in the mold main body part 2 and a cut-off part 5 integrated with the insert main body part 4 at one end side thereof through a thin-walled part 6 and protruded to a non-appearance surface 9 on the other side thereof. The cut-off part 5 is strongly held between the upper and lower molds 10 and 11 on the other end side thereof at the time of molding to prevent the positional shift of the insert main body part 4 and broken at the thin-walled part 6 after remolding to be cut off from the insert main body part 4.
