PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching mechanism for smoothing switching between a hand operation position and a needle adjusting position for correcting the time. SOLUTION: This clock switching mechanism 1 includes: a setting lever 20 rotated according to the getting in and out operation of a winding stem 10; a hand drum wheel 12 moved in the extending directions A1, A2 of the winding stem 10 according to the rotation of the setting lever 20 and rotated integrally with the winding stem 10 when the winding stem 10 turns on the axis A of rotation; a setting wheel rocking lever 50 rotated according to the rotation of the setting lever 20; and a setting wheel 60 movable according to the rotation of the setting wheel rocking lever 50 between a non-time correcting position away from a minute wheel 4 and a time correcting position engaging with the hand drum wheel 12 and engaging with the minute wheel. The switching mechanism 1 further includes a setting wheel guide mechanism 70 for guiding the setting wheel 60 in the direction parallel to the getting in-and-out directions A1, A2 of the winding stem 10 between the non-time correcting position and the time correcting position according to the getting in-and-out operation of the winding stem 10.
