PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave kiln having a structure where an inner heat insulation member is not deformed nor damaged by the weight of a fired article in the firing stage. SOLUTION: The microwave kiln is provided with a furnace body accommodating the article to be fired; a microwave oscillation means for oscillating microwave and leading to the furnace body; and at least double heat insulation members in the furnace body. Porous ceramics coated with a material having a microwave absorption characteristic same or approximating to that of the article to be fired and having porosity of 5-95% is used as the inner heat insulation member of the heat insulation members.
