PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic power generator for a water faucet having a generating part which can efficiently convert rotational force to electricity without being effected by absorption of magnetic force of water. SOLUTION: The hydraulic power generator 1 has a water wheel 3 composed so that it rotates by the flow of water controlled by the faucet, and the generating part 10 for converting the rotational force of the water wheel 3 to electricity, and is provided with a rotational force transmitting mechanism 11 between the water wheel 3 and the generating part 10 for transmitting rotational force to the generating part 10 separated from water by magnetic force.
