COATING COMPOSITION FOR TENDON OF PRESTRESSED CONCRETE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for a PC tendon, giving little stimulation to the skin to enable safe use, effectively stretchable even after the curing of concrete in the case of applying to a large-sized concrete construction and having excellent storage stability. SOLUTION: The coating composition for PC tendon is applied to the surface of a tendon of prestressed concrete and contains an oxidation curable resin modified with a fatty acid and a metal catalyst to promote the curing of the resin. The curing time of the coating composition is adjusted to develop the tension by the prestressed concrete tendon after 30 days from the placing of the concrete. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
