PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder that can prevent sheet feeding failure such as or overlapped feed of sheets and no pick up in picking up of sheets. SOLUTION: This sheet feeder includes a sheet advancing angle changing portion 120 placed on a frame so that an angle at which the leading end of a sheet advances toward a sheet separating member changes according to a thickness or rigidity of the sheet in picking up of the sheet. The portion 120 includes a sheet end bending guide 121 formed on a bottom surface 111 of the frame 110 on which the leading end of a sheet is loaded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
