PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet handling device for efficiently loading bundles of folded sheets in large quantity by using a small-sized tray. SOLUTION: In this sheet handling device, sheet bundles are piled up, aligned, interfolded, and loaded onto a lower tray 203 disposed in a substantially horizontal position. This device is equipped with an auxiliary tray 204 projecting at a prescribed angle with a sheet loading surface 203a of the tray 203 and a presser roller 205 for sandwiching a bundle of discharged sheets between itself and the tray 204. The tray 205 is movable parallel to the surface 203a, and an angle formed by the tray 204 with the surface 203a of the tray 203 is changeable. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
