PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a change-over switch for an obstacle sensor. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic brake MB is operated by the detection of a belt switch 27 and a current in a motor M is cut off by the detection of a proximity sensor 28. The change-over switch 30 is changeable into a normal position I, a special position II and an emergency position III. In the normal position I, both the belt switch 27 and the proximity sensor 28 are in operated conditions, and in the special position II adequate for run in a narrow path, only the proximity sensor 28 is in a non-operated condition. In the emergency position III adequate for repositioning the attitude of a meal serving wagon after hitting an obstacle, both the belt switch 27 and the proximity sensor 28 are in non-operated conditions. The change-over switch 30 is in such a momentary structure that the wagon can be mechanically held in the normal position I and the special position II while it can be held in the emergency position III only by manual handling and automatically reset to the normal position I with the operation of a spring 38 by removing the holding force.
