PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which minimizes power consumption required for judging whether abnormality occurs or not and the damage which will be caused to the control board or the like due to the abnormality. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a power supply means which supplies power from an external power source to a connection state judging means for judging whether the information is transmittable between a recording medium processor and the game machine without supplying to an electric component control means for controlling the electric components and starts supply of the power to the electric component control means with the condition that the information is judged to be transmittable by the connection state judging means.
