<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device capable of surely eliminating desired read image information from a storage medium from which image information should be erased after a read image output and to prevent the image information from being leaked to a third person by detecting that the storage medium is extracted to erase the image information even if a user forget erasing the image information. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device provided with an image reading means for reading an original image and image forming means for forming an image on a recording medium on the basis of image information read by the image reading means comprises a nonvolatile image storing means for storing read image information outputted from the image reading means, an instructing means for instructing whether the read image information continues to exist on the storing means, a nonvolatile image storing means for storing read image information that is instructed not to exist by the instructing means, and an erasing means for erasing the read image information from the image forming means after outputting the read image information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
