<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of the operation part of an image forming apparatus capable of automatically changing over the allotment of a key signal for plate making and printing by simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A part of an operation panel 1 is arranged as a detachable cover 10 and a pair of circular holes 13 and 14 for exposing a plate making start key 11 and a printing start key 12 and fixing pawl-shaped parts 15 and 16 are provided. Holes 18 and 19 for inserting the pawl-shaped parts 15 and 16 are provided to the recessed part 17 for attaching and detaching the cover 10 of the operation panel 1 and the cover 10 is made detachable with respect to the recessed part 17 without using a screw or the like. A recessed part 20 capable of being simply detached by a coin or the like is provided to the end edge of the cover 10. Only by replacing the plate making start key 11 and a printing start key 12 by detaching the cover 10, users of a copier and a printer can arbitrarily select the optimum key arrangement without performing function replacing operation or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
