<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prophylactic/remedial/diagnostic agent for respiratory diseases. <P>SOLUTION: A compound which enhances activity of a protein having an amino acid sequence identical or substantially identical to an amino acid sequence expressed by a specified sequence or its salt, another compound which promotes expression of a gene of the protein or its salt, an antisense nucleotide which contains a base sequence complementary or substantially complementary to a base sequence of a DNA encoding the protein or its partial peptide or contains a part of the base sequence, an antibody to the protein or to the partial peptide, etc., is used as the prophylactic/remedial/diagnostic agent for the respiratory diseases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
